About Us
The Age Group Team is a specialized Age Group Swim Program based out of the New Rochelle High School in New Rochelle, New York & The College of New Rochelle Children from ages 4 & Up are introduced to competitive swimming and eventually coached to reach their individual potential in swimming. Proper form is reinforced through drills. Endurance and interval training is introduced. Swimmers are introduced to all aspects of swimming including self-respect and respect for others, commitment, goal setting, strategies in achieving goals, and sportsmanship.

Maps of Practice Locations: New Rochelle High School, & College of New Rochelle. When entering the building for practice at New Rochelle High School, please enter off of Clove Road just a smidge (maybe 80 feet at the most) north of Otsego Avenue, go through the double iron gates and down the stairs on your left. Enter the building at ground level.
Financial Assistance & Payment Plans: During these difficult financial times, we do offer reduced rates and monthly payment plans based upon need and ability. Financial assistance is offered on a first-come first-serve basis and upon each family's individual needs. This information is kept strictly confidential. All requests financial assistance or a payment plan must be submitted through EMAIL ONLY to Allison Garces. Please indicate reason for request and your child's age and group placement. All requests must be made by September 1, 2009.

Program Descriptions and Schedules |
Rainbows: Swimmers Ages 3-6, Swimmers must be able to submerge their faces under the water voluntarily & tread water for 10 seconds with out assistance. Swimmers Practice 1x or 2x per week.
Meets at New Rochelle HS on Saturday morning at NRHS 10:30-11:00 am
Future Stars - The Future Stars is the developmental and entry level of the competitive program for swimmers who can stroke Freestyle with there face in the water and who can do some Backstroke. (Ages 5-9). Coaches work on fine tuning swimmers individual skills. Proper body position, breathing, and form are developed through competitive drills. Practice is 30 minutes long.
Meets at NRHS on Tuesdays from 5:00-5:30 pm and Wednesdays at New Rochelle HS from 5:00-5:30 pm....and Saturday at NRHS from 10:00-10:30 am
Bronze - The Bronze Team is the next step of the competitive program. Bronze swimmers can stroke Freestyle with rhythmic breathing and who can do backstroke. (Ages 5-10). Introduction to competitive swimming, proper technique of all four competitive strokes and diving. Proper form is reinforced through drills. Endurance and interval training is introduced. Swimmers are introduced to all aspects of competitive swimming including self-respect and respect for others, commitment, goal setting, strategies in achieving goals, and sportsmanship. The foundation is built for future success in competitive swimming. Practice is 45 minutes and swimmers Practice 1x or 3x per week.
Meets at New Rochelle HS on Mondays from 5:00-5:45, Thursdays from 5:00-5:45 and Saturdays from10:00-10:45 am
Silver Team - The Silver Team is the next step of the competitive program. Coaches work on fine tuning each swimmer's individual skills. Proper body position, breathing, and form are developed through competitive drills and endurance training. This program is structured. We teach the swimmers to respect each other and how to work together as a team. Gradual endurance and stamina are developed. Swimmers must be able to do 50 yards of both freestyle and backstroke as well as 25 yards of both breaststroke and butterfly. Swimmers are placed in Silver A or Silver B based upon ability and age. Swimmers practice 2 to 4 times per week. For Silver A each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes at Carver Center and 1 hour and 1/2 at NRHS. Silver B meets 1 hour per practice. Ages 6-10. Silver Team is offerred 6 days per week as follows.

Silver A
Meets at NRHS on Tuesday & Thursday from 5:00-6:30, and Saturday s 9:45-11:15 am.
Meets at College of New
Rochelle
Swimmers practice either Wednesday & Friday – 3:45-5:00, Each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Ages 6-10

Silver B Meets at NRHS on Tuesday & Thursday from 5:00-6:00, and Saturday s 10:00-11:00 am.
Gold Team - The Gold Team is the next step of the competitive program. Coaches work on fine tuning each swimmer's individual skills and needs. This is a challenging and structured competitive program. Proper form is reinforced through drills. Endurance and interval training is introduced. Swimmers are introduced to all aspects of competitive swimming including self-respect and respect for others, commitment, goal setting, strategies in achieving goals, and sportsmanship. The foundation is built for future success in competitive swimming. Swimmers practice 2 to 6 times per week for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Gold Team is offered 6 days per weeks as follows.
Gold A Team
New Rochelle HS Meets Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:45-7:30 pm and Saturdays from 10:45-12:45 pm
College of New Rochelle Meets at College of New Rochelle on Mondays - Wednesday - Friday 3:45-5:45 pm.
Gold B Team
New Rochelle HS Meets Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:45-7:15 pm and Saturdays from 10:45-12:30 pm
College of New Rochelle Meets at College of New Rochelle on Mondays - Wednesday -Friday 3:45-5:30 pm. and Sunday afternoons time TBA
