This is a preliminary listing of meets the Badger Age Group Team will be participating in during the 2007-2008 season. NOTE: The schedule is subject to change throughout the season.

For meets that Carlé's groups are doing, look for a "Yes" or specific group designation in the Carlé column below.
For meets that Kip's group is doing, look for a "Yes" in the Kip column below.
For both Carlé and Kip groups, also look at the Who column for any additional information about who will be swimming the meet (for example "12 and Unders" or "13 and Overs", etc.) Note -- Meets may be added or deleted as needed.

Liam Egan Sets Record, #1 in USA, Brittany Bailey – Ranked #2 in the Nation !

Girls & Boys 10&U Relays Also Ranked Top in USA !!

Brittany Bailey won the 50 & 100 Backstroke at the Annapolis Swim Club Holiday Invitational. Her 50 backstroke time of 31.10, ranks her #2 in the United States in that event this season. Her 100 back places her 4^th in the Nation with a time of 1:06.94. Liam Egan smashed 2 Maryland Swimming Records, in the 100 Free & 200 Free. His time in the 200 Free ranks him #1 in the United States. The Girls 10&U 200 Medley Relay Team of Brittany Bailey, Kate Evans, Mary Cain & Beatrix Panitz took the Gold in a time of 2:11.13, this ranks them #5 in the USA.The same girls took the gold in the 400 Free relay Other Top performances were from the Girls 200 Free relay Team of Brittany Bailey, Kate Evans, Kelly Delane & Beatrix Panitz which currently ranks them 8^th in the USA this season. The Boys 200 Free relay team of Chris Aventuro, Declan Kennon, Liam Egan, & Ian Bidwell also touched in with a Gold medal, with a National rank # 4…..The 200 Medley Relay Team of Samuel Varshisky, Chris Aventuro, Declan Kennon & Liam Egan took home the Gold this past weekend ranking them 8^th in the nation…Kate Evans swam to Twin Gold Medals in the 500 & 100 Breast along with Chris Aventuro, also taking a pair of Gold medals in the 500 & 100 Breast…..Eight year old Liam Egan took the Gold in the 200 Free…..Declan Kennon took the Gold in the 50 free…..Other Finalists for the 10&U Team were: Chris Aventuro took 4^th in the 100 & 200 free, 5^th in the 200 Im & 6^th in the 100 IM……..Brittany Bailey took home 2^nd place in the 100 & 200 IM’s & 200 Free, 3^rd in the 100 Free & 50 Breast & 5^th in the 50 Free….. Ian Bidwell, placed 4^th in the 100 Fly……Mary Cain placed 3^rd in the 100 Breast & 100 Fly…..Liam Egan also took 5^th in the 100 free….Kate Evans placed 3^rd in the 200 Im, 50 back & 50 free, 4^th place in the 50 fly and 100 back & 6^th in the 100 fly….Declan Kennon took 2^nd in the 50 back & 200 IM, 3^rd in the 100 free & IM, 5^th I the 50 fly, 6^th in the 200 free, & 7^th in the 100 Back & 100 Fly….Beatrix Panitz placed 5^th in the 50 free & 7^th in the 100 free….Personal best rundowns are: Chris Aventuro, 10 PB’s…..Brittany Bailey, 15 PB’s……Ian Bidwell, 7 PB’s……Mary Cain, 6 PB’s……Kelly Delane, 6 PB’s……Liam Egan, 8 PB’s……Kate Evans, 13 Pb’s……Bridget Johanson,2 PB’s……Declan Kennon, 14 PB’s……Michael Kessler, 5 PB’s……Beatrix Panitz, 8 PB’s……Anna Paret, 7 PB’s……Ashley Rieck, 3 PB’s……Josh Rieck, 5 PB’s……James Simone, 7 PB’s……Madeline Simone, 7 PB’s…..Christian Tanner, 8 PB’s……Samuel Varshisky, 5 PB’s….

James Simone Sets Record at Boys & Girls Club 8&U Meet James Simone, 7, set a new Meet & Pool Record in the 7&U 50 Free and took the gold medal in the 7&U 25 back at the Boys & Girls 8&U Meet held on November 18, 2006. The Boys 8&U Relay Team of Alec Bidwell, David Bravo, Josh Hendell & James Simone, splashing in for the Gold in the 100 Medley & Free relays. The 8&U Girls Team of Nathalie Eid, Clare McInerney, Alexis Steffen & Amanda Vasilakis took the Silver in the 100 Medley & free relays. Other outstanding performance were from Joseph Mo who took the Gold in the 8&U 100 Free, 50 Fly, 50 Back & 100 IM. Nathalie Eid took Gold in the 7&U 25 breast and Silver in the 50 Free, 50 Back & 25 free. Amanda Vasailakis, 8, took the Gold in the 100 IM. Alec Bidwell, 2nd in the 8&U 50 breast, David Bravo, 2nd in the 8&U 50 Back, Josh Hendel, 2nd in the 8&U 50 Fly, Kenny Nixon placed 2^nd in the 7&U 25 free & Alexis Steffen placed 2^nd in the 25 fly.
