Badger Swim Club - Kip’s Registration Info - “11 and over”

 Welcome to the Badger Swim Club 2009-2010 Season!  We are happy that you are ready to take your swimming to the next level.  We extend a warm welcome to the next wave of swimmers who are moving up from Carle’s program, to swimmers from other programs, and welcome back our swimmers from last year. 

We are pleased to announce two new and exciting additions to the swim program: 

**NEW!!**  We are excited to introduce Dartfish, the video analysis tool.

Dartfish is the most advanced software technology developed in sports today. It is used extensively by professional athletes, especially swimmers.  Dartfish can slow strokes down to hundredths of a second, zoom in and isolate, and compare technique with two screens side by side.  It also provides data on lap time, average swimming speed, stroke frequency, stroke length, etc.  Your swimmer will be filmed and then will sit down with Kip afterwards to review and analyze the footage.  60 minute session.  Please refer to fee schedule. 

**NEW!!**  “Stroke Clinics” and “Starts and Turns Clinics”

“Starts and Turns Clinics” will be offered on Saturdays from 7.00 am – 8.00 am at New Rochelle High School.  “Stroke Clinics” will be offered on Sundays from 7.00 am – 8.00 am at SUNY Purchase.  Please refer to fee schedule. 

You may pre-register by September 12 and this will guarantee your child a place in our program (see attached form).  You have two payment options.  You may pay the full amount up front by September 12, or make two convenient payments, one at the time of registration and the balance by December 1. 

I will be holding a Parent Meeting on Saturday, September 12 at 9.00 am at Badger Swim Club, 119 Rockland Avenue, Larchmont, NY.  I hope you can make it and look forward to talking to you in detail about the program and what we have planned for the coming year.

Kip's 2009-2010 Application

BADGER 2009-2010 11 & Over Program SCHEDULE

Part-time team: Up to 4 days a week                      Full-time team: Six days a week

Workout schedule -

There will be a charge for Meet Entry Fees. Meet Entry Fees are $3.00 per Individual Event for Timed Final Meets and $4.00 per Individual Event for Trial & Final Meets. If you wish to not enter your child in a meet, please let me know in writing at least two weeks prior to the first day of the meet. A separate bill will be sent in December and in March for the Meet Entry Fees.

Fees are due on September 11 at time of registration, or should be mailed in. The program is filling up so please sign up ASAP.  Any questions, please contact Kip at 914-262-2350

When entering the building for practice at New Rochelle High School, please enter off of Clove Road just a smidge (maybe 80 feet at the most) north of Otsego Avenue, go through the double iron gates and down the stairs on your left.  Enter the building at ground level.
